What is a Same-Day Restoration?
Normally, placing a dental crown, inlay or onlay requires more than one visit to the dentist, but by using CEREC technology, our dentists can perform the entire procedure in one visit.
CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a system that allows for the fabrication of same-day ceramic or porcelain dental restorations. Our Montreal dentists use CEREC technology to place crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays in just one appointment.
Dental Crowns
Crowns are porcelain caps that are placed on top of prepared teeth to help restore their function and appearance, such as preventing a cracked tooth from worsening.
